PROJECT PEACH complements the historic Overtown neighborhood and the 14th Street mixed-use commercial corridor by delivering a high-quality infill development that restores vitality to the streetscape. The project will create meaningful opportunities for local entrepreneurs and residents by establishing a central destination that serves the Overtown community as a true “Village Center.”
The mixed-use development at PROJECT PEACH, featuring 50% AMI work–live residences, will generate an economic impact that extends well beyond traditional commercial development. In addition to the tangible benefits of new investment on a currently vacant infill site, the project will deliver substantial economic and social returns to the broader Overtown community. With the committed support of the Omni CRA, the Knight Foundation, and the Florida Community Loan Fund, PROJECT PEACH will help establish a strong sense of place, deliver high-quality affordable housing, activate a walkable commercial corridor, enhance surrounding property values, and foster long-term community pride.
